Workshop Detail

Wired cloisonne enamelis a traditional technique in which thin ribbons of silver wire are bent over a silver base to create patterns in any design. Although this is a full-scale technique used for cloisonne enamel works in museum collections, elementary school children can also experience it.
The finished size of the work is approximately 3 cm. Let’s make cute mini accessories!

■Flow of Experience
①Gathering and reception
Please come to the restaurant by your reserved time.
It will be smoother if you show us your reservation notification e-mail.

②Select a shape
We have various shapes of silver(silver999) bases.
Please choose the one you like.

③Planted wire
Bend ribbon-shaped sterling silver(silver999) cut into long and thin strips to create the outlines of the pattern.
Please enjoy designing freely.

④Firing
Bake the outlines.
(*Firing is done by our staff.)

⑤Glazing
16 colors of glazes are available! In addition, colors can be mixed to create your favorite color!
Choose your favorite color and place it on the silver base, color-coding it according to the contour lines.

⑥Firing
Firing in a furnace at about 800 degrees Celsius to melt the glaze.
Firing takes about 2 minutes!

⑦Finishing
The piece will be delivered with metal fittings of your choice.
You can take your work home on the same day.
