We are pleased to announce that HIYOSHIYA, a historic workshop specializing in Kyoto’s traditional Wagasa (Japanese umbrellas), has been added to our website.

Founded over 160 years ago, HIYOSHIYA is one of the few remaining workshops dedicated to the art of handcrafted Japanese umbrellas. Using traditional techniques passed down through generations, the artisans carefully craft each Wagasa from natural materials such as bamboo and handmade washi paper.
