Here you can witness how time-consuming, valuable and gorgeous Nishijin brocades are.
Two sons of Master craftsman Mikio Hirai have grown up in the atelier as the future successors to their father’s craftsmanship, and you will not only learn about the production of religion-related textiles, but also feel the flow of the new creative energy which is being woven into the beginning of something great.
