We will take you to the Nishikiori workshop, the site of textile artist Koho Tatsumura’s manufacturing.
You can see his Nishikiori works, restored textile fragments, and restored high looms.
English is available. Shopping is also available.
*Free for elementary school students and younger
*Non-experienced visitors and accompanying persons are requested to make a separate reservation for a tour of the workshop.

Nishiki has long been synonymous with “beautiful things,” as in “brocade for the hometown,” “brocade banner,” and “brocade autumn. We are a textile workshop that aims to create and surpass the beauty of brocade using traditional weaving techniques inherited from Heizo Tatsumura, the first generation of the company, for four generations.
